Functional Specifications

SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Application Performance Monitor (APM), Virtualization Integration Module (VIM)

  1. Retrieving of nodes, volumes, groups, virtual machines (VIM), applications (APM), network interfaces (NPM) and transactions (SUEM).
  2. Retrieves health states of all the collected objects based on the Status property using the following logic: Up, Dormant, Active, Inactive, Expired is shown as healthy, Warning, Mixed Availability, Misconfigured, Unconfirmed is shown as Warning, Down, Shutdown, Lower Layer Down, Unreachable, Critical is shown as critical, External, Monitoring Disabled is shown as not monitored, Unmanaged is shown as in maintenance mode, Unknown, Testing, Not Present, Unplugged, Could not Poll, Disabled, Not licensed is shown as unknown.
  3. Retrieving group member relationships and all relationships between components.
  4. Retrieving all alerts.
  5. Set Acknowledged field value of alert to true.
  6. Set State field of alert to Reset.
